Happy New Year everyone, we do hope your break has been enjoyable.
We will be returning to normal classes on 3rd February 2024 at the usual times.
As always, you will need to book via Trybooking.com.au – Northcote Obedience Dog Club – and we ask you to arrive 15 minutes before class time, check in, and allow your dogs to say hello to their friends particularly after such a long break, and maybe get some sillies out 😊
We anticipate a large number returning and our Instructors will be allocated to classes on the basis of number of members booked.
Please note that if you have not booked, you may be asked to wait until classes start and if a space is available, only then will you be able to join in.
Booking site will be open Saturday 27th January and close Friday 2nd February at 5pm

07th and 21st October – For Class 4s and 5s
We will be holding another Introduction to Rally (7th) and Obedience (21st)
Further details and entry forms will be forwarded soon.
Numbers will be limited, but there will be regular classes for 4s and 5s for non – participants.
For Puppies to Class 3
This event is restricted to Class 4 and 5, however, you are very welcome, in fact encouraged, to come down early, or stay on, grab a tea/coffee and watch the experienced handlers go through their paces. You will see what you are able to achieve with your best friend.
Classes will still be held on these days, however, as we will have limited ground area and availability of Instructors, as they may be competing, bookings will still be done through Eventbrite but they will need to be limited.
It is essential you register – please do not just turn up if you haven’t booked or contacted the secretary before 9.30am Saturday

To celebrate Winter Solstice, we plan to have all classes together and have a mixed training day.
We will start with the ever popular “Simon Says” – which is definitely a challenge for some handlers !!!!! Myself included.
All activities are based on exercises you have learnt, focused on Heeling, Sit/Stand and control. No scoring, just fun.
This way the young ones can see what the big kids can do, and you can see what you can achieve.

On the 10th June 2023 at 2.45pm we will be holding our Annual General Meeting between training session.
Hello everyone
There will be NO TRAINING on Easter Saturday 8th April. We wish you all a happy Easter, and a safe one if you are travelling.
A gentle reminder that renewals are due 31st March 2023. If you have a yellow name tag you will need to renew on or before 15th April, After that date you will not be able to participate in training classes.
If your name tag is PINK your membership is current until March 2024.
